Najisi Kain

Najisi lay away from the pride's camp. Her cubs were still too young to leave the shaded area of their birth. And they certainly were not old enough to be in with the rest of the pride. Of course, a Queen could not shirk her duties, so Najisi often made trips to the main camp. She was just returning from her rounds. A cry was heard and her phoenix dove right at her. Urgency? It spoke of what broken intel she had gathered from Meur. While Naji couldn't make much sense of the whole story, a few key things sent her into a worry. The pride needed to know. Now. The moon was almost at it's fullest.

Naji would leave for the main meeting area. However, she ushered her cubs to follow this time. It was a slow march. Making sure each cub made it. Once things had settled, the exhausted queen let out a calling bellow. Urgency laced in the call. This was serious.

Jericho, Yasbi, Yasha, Kardei, Camry, Camille, Reno II, Diezel, Cyber, Casey, ??, ??, ??

Casey and Reno II followed after their mother obediently, soft mewls escaping them as they protested leaving their warmth and coming out here. Did they have to?

Three creatures stood staring down from a top one of the many mountains surrounding Arelth. Sure the mountains were gorgeous and all - but it was a trap and death sentence all in one. Well. Maybe for other creatures other than them. Eyes glimmering in the dusky evening, a small and very soft growl escaped one's maw, ordering the two companions to stay still and very quiet. They crouched silently behind the vegetation they were hiding behind - they were by no means stupid enough to be 'hiding' in plain view. One of them instantly caught sight of a familiar. Ahh so there she was.

Yasbi, Yasha and Kardei had all been with one another like always, Jericho with Atryn - but not in the dens. He had decided to take the cub out - he needed fresh air when the call came. Jericho glanced down at Atryn. "Wanna come with or go back? You're more than welcome to since you're with me." He gave a small smile. Even if it was urgent - it couldn't be too bad. Not with only two days till the full moon. Yasha, Kardei and Yasbi had all moved out to the clearing looking at Najisi. Yasha moved away from them and went to Najisi's side. "You look exhausted. Do you need help with the cubs?" She looked over them all, worried. Whether Izyebel or Teival were here as well was up to them if they'd followed her back here or not.

Camille was laying with Camry, sharing a grooming session. Some of the Guild members had remained behind to help out with the recovery of La Morte out of the gracious-ness of Ducarious' heart. She had let Leona and Revolt choose whether they wished to stay with her or not, but either way she had made regular reports back to the Guild on what was going on. She had actually been planning to head back the next morning when the call came in. Her head shot up and a curious look graced her features as she glanced at Camry. He shrugged, stood and without a word moved over to where Najisi was standing. So many cubs surrounded her. Camille followed soon after - clearly she had quite a report to make when she went back.

Cyber had been lazing for a bit, resting his by now newly healed shoulder when the call came. Victor was an excellent healer. He stood then, stretching carefully and moved over. Upon catching sight of Yasbi, he joined her and her family, nodding to them all respectfully.

Diezel turned around, stretching his wings as he did so and yawning widely. He'd just been heading to the dens from laying outside but seemed Najisi wanted to say something. Having already been out there basking in the sun, he saw no reason to leave when his mother and father was sure to appear now.

SERAPHINA DONOVAN-KAIN & VELOCITY SULDAN

The young cub, barely accustomed to walking, let alone traveling, struggled to keep up with the whole of the family, though did her best not to complain. Frustrated, she stomped alongside her mother with head held high, determined to prove herself strongest from among her many siblings.

An older, more capable gray 'ess flinched at her queen's call. The tone was off, and curious as she was, Velocity bounded over to the source of the roar. Her carefree nature refused her the right to observe the urgency and stress on Najisi's face, and instead she focused on the gathering of the pride. Spotting a brother, she padded towards Diezel and plopped herself down next to him. "What is it, do you think?" she whispered.

Izyebel & Teival & Hannibal

The siblings had joined their other kin on the return to La Morte from their stay in the Asylum, they had agreed on spending the day with the others and to learn about current affairs and such if ever they were needed in the future. The two however hadn't really decided on joining yet, though were more then likely to side with Yasha therefore they would assist La Morte anyway possible.

Shorter next to her brother Izyebel sat just next to Yasbi with Teival on her other side. She had made sure that both of them would remain quiet and respectable on Najisi's land, so for now she looked on curiously as tension lined the air. Teival could feel it too and his composure was of most seriousness and lethal structure.

He wasn't anywhere near close to anyone, as soon as his paws had hit home territory Hannibal had slipped away from his travelling partner. Whatever was going on wasn't any of his business, however he was curious about La Morte and some old familiar faces. Staying down wind, his golden gaze watched from a mountain perch, creatures nothing but specks in the distance.

Amour Donovan Kain & Influence & Azul Suldan & Caylis

The child followed after her mother obediently, with a curious expression, she was a calm one for her age and it was clear when she became older, that she would be a serene sibling.

Influence padded over to the meeting place, he nodded to Najisi before listening on what she had to say.

Azul stood beside Diezel, she nuzzled him before she looked up to the queen, she smiled, what cute little cubs she had! She wondered if she would have her own someday.

Sinna & Revolt & Casket & Nini & Atryn & Brutus

Sinna rose from her place of sleep, shaking off a bit of grass before making her way swiftly to her mother's call. Urgency, she wondered what this was about. Coming upon the group, she went to seat beside Camry and Camille, looking around for her other siblings to sit near her if they wished. Revolt joined them from wherever he was goofing off.

Casket eased out of the medic's den at his mother's distant call, a little bob-tailed Brutus following behind him nosily. "Can I come?" He mewed, little tail flicking quite comically on his bottom. The older male smiled, and nodded. "So long as you stay close to me- don't wonder off." He muttered, waiting to see if any of the other cubs wanted to join him as well, or perhaps even Victor.

Atryn's ears flicked at Jericho's summoning, thinking on it for a moment. "I'll come with." He mewed, falling in to Jerry's side as they made their way to the meeting. Nervousness ate at him, since the moon was almost upon them, he had his own fears on what Najisi had summoned them for, mixed with his usual curiosity.

Nini joined her brother and sister that had already gotten there, bumping into them with a giggle before settling down beside them, looking up to the queen.

Beau Kain-Donovan

Beau followed after his mother and his siblings as good as he could with his small clumsy cubby paws. Golden eyes gazed from one direction to another while he tried to keep up with the rest of his family. He wanted to stop and take a good look around since there were so much to lay his eyes on. So much to explore and all the scents to track down! But it had to wait til another occation. The air had a serious touch to it. Something wasn't right and Beau could feel it.

Lothaire is still somewhere between Aodha's territory and Arelth and Mizuki is in the forest with Lena and Porcelain.

Victor had just returned from a rather good snack. A few song bird rested on his back as he walked. His intimidating aura was nothing to fear, usually. Perhaps when he had not eaten for two weeks, it was better to avoid him, but he was usually quite passive, as could be seen by the little birds nestling into his teal mane. He heard the call and ears perked forward. He looked toward Teival and waved his tail, but did not approach, as Yasha was not too far off from him. He moved to lay beside Casket, moving slow as to not disturb his passengers. He plucked a few, bright fiery feathers from his teeth, upon spotting Najisi's phoenix. He had no need to offend her further. He did not think the bird would take to kindly to Victor often eating its kin. However, it was one of the few creatures that kept his body temperature from dropping to incredibly low temperatures. It was the result of how finely attuned he was to winter. He looked to Brutus and smiled at the cub.

Sardon stuck to the edge, not having anyone to socialize too much with. He stared at Victor's passengers quizzically, but soon he scaled a tree and lurked in the boughs to watch the events.

Dion pounced on things before him, refusing to be so easily corralled by his mother. The black cub was a bit of a terror, as he misbehaved constantly. He was better suited to a smaller litter, as required a good deal of attention. As Yasha approached, he gave a little snarl and went for her paws, refusing to let go should he catch a hold, oblivious to the situation, or rather, not caring. Bright, topaz eyes continued to flit from object to object. He tried to nip at her with his little needle teeth. This was a display of affection, rather than total aggression. Whether or not that changed as he got older would be hard to tell. He loved to wrestle.

Lothaire been searching for Visuna when a large bird's shadow crossed his path. Ocean blues gazed up and observed a phoenix. It looked like it was in a hurry and heading in the direction of Arelth. It had to one of Reno's or Najisi's and Lothaire immediately followed it the best he could. Although, it was rather hard since the bird had a clear arial path while Lothaire had to navigate inbetween the many trees and bushes to keep up. It didn't take long before the phoenix's figure escaped his eyes but he knew where it was heading and kept running.

He finally reached Arelth and headed for the main area where he'd most likely run into a fellow La Morte member. It was a wise choice. A gathering had started to form. He paced down and joined the rest of the group once he reached the crowd.

Najisi Kain

Good. Members had gathered quickly. She winced a bit when she saw Atryn. This would likely only worry the boy more. No matter. Just another instance of Meur's butchery for him to hear. When the gathering calmed Najisi moved to stand ahead of the cubs and Reno.

"Thank you for coming so quickly. I won't delay, we don't have time. I sent my Phoenix to spy on Meurtrier. With the fool moon so near, I was worried. I had right to. She reported back to me that we will be walking into an ambush. Meurtrier plans to bring backup. She didn't get full deails but it sounded like a lot. Cocaine is also bringing the two 'largest brutes' for Meur. So I assume the one that attacked our dens will be there."

She spoke sternly. There was no way in hell she'd be caught off guard again. Cocaine was not going to ruin her leadership any further. She wouldn't be afraid of this stunt. The time for fear was long over.

"From what it sounds, there will be quite a few members. Hidden I assume. Even if we meet them as a pride theres a good chance we'll be outnumbered. But e do have an advantage. Volcano was ours. Meur may have once held it as Reno said, but god knows how long ago that was. We still have the place fresh in our minds. I want every able bodied adult there. Hide in the shadows."

She said confidently. Her eyes spotted Jericho. The bird had given her Jericho's name. She'd not let him go to this meeting. She lost enough family. She also saw Lothiare returning. While she had quite the bone to pick with him, she knew she needed everyone as a pride.

"Casket, Jericho, and Tanzel. I want you three staying behind to guard the cubs. My Phoenix will be with you and will be able to get to us fast if they plan to send a splinter group to attack La Morte while it's leaders are away. We are not large enough to splinter like them. If the rest of you see my Phoenix fly into the area, don't even wait for my signal to fall back. You forget about me and you charge back here. The cubs, will not be at the dens. They know how to get to them and where they are. Hide in the covered rise instead. "

Naji's tone was commanding. They only really lost Tanzel as far as their 'strength' goes. Casket was a healer. Jericho's head was wanted and she'd not let him near Coke. Victor would go. He was their most imposing member. As well as very capable healer. He could save lives if Meurtrier attacked. Najisi's tail flicked and she growled slightly.

"Meurtrier has deceived us. I don't know what it fully means but something about this being Osic's test. I have a feeling they plan to leave with Atryn and him. I'll not allow it. Kardei, Yasbi, you two will 'subdue' my son so he can not leave. Not until they do anyway and I have a chance to finally speak to him. But you are to not hurt him. I'll be demanding Osic before I let Atryn go. Once we have Osic, Atryn will walk to his family. and Reno, I, Victor and you two, will step away and allow the boy to move. We are the only five I want to be visible."

Influence nodded, "Yes, m'lady. Heard and understood." he called out, dipping his head. "Though, m'lady.. what will happen if they ambush us? Then, what shall happen?" he said, tilting his head.

Jericho, Yasbi, Yasha, Kardei, Camry, Camille, Reno II, Diezel, Cyber, Casey, ??, ??, ??

The tension began to rise as Najisi began speaking. Others had gathered swiftly - which was good. But the words Najisi spoke to them was not. Yasha glanced down at Dion as he batted at her paws and her visage openly softened. Making sure Dion had grasped her paw properly, she lifted him gently into the air - but only by a little so in case he slipped he wouldn't fall down far at all. Maybe an inch or two. She didn't mind keeping him busy as Najisi began to speak, but worry pricked at her, gnawed at her belly. Something was wrong here.

Yasha ignored her feelings for a moment and glanced over at Kardei and Yasbi and nodded at the two of them. They nodded back, sharing a glance before looking back at Najisi. "We've got your back." The both said, but their eyes flitted to Jericho when he spoke.

All heads began to nod, but Jericho stepped forward, giving a small worried glance down to Atryn. He brushed his tail over the cub slightly, comfortingly a bit and murmured a soft 'sorry' to him. He hadn't known this was going to be harsh news even if it had been urgent. "Wait, this whole thing is my fault to begin with - and I take responsibility for that. If you need everyone you can get - capable fighters if Meurtrier plans to ambush us - why must I sit back again? Najisi, I can't sit back and let everyone else take the fall for what I did twice in a row." He spoke up, his eyes betraying what he felt in this one instance. There was something she was hiding.

Diezel glanced over at Nini and Azul as they joined him, nudging them both slightly playfully before things began to speak. When Jericho was done he lurched to his paws. "And we can help too! Moving the cubs and all, I mean." He gave a sheepish grin then as he realized he was loud.

Reno II moved over to Dion pawing at him briefly before joining his game with Yasha's paws. Casey mewled softly and bumped into Najisi's legs. She then lifted one paw to bat at her.

Camry glanced at Sinna as she joined him, and offered her a small nuzzle again. He had actually found himself becoming fond of the female ever since that last fight. When Najisi spoke, Camille and Camry shared a worried glance, glanced at Revolt as well before Camry looked to Sinna with the same worry, before looking back at Najisi. She glanced over at Jericho as he spoke, and then stepped up herself. "Before Jericho is answered - I know Ducarious well enough to know that the Guild will offer their support to La Morte. It is what we agreed upon after all. We'll be there as well." She nodded to Najisi and Reno before stepping away from her kids. "Revolt, I want you to stay here for now. If I'm not back in time - then come and find us and we'll hurry along but I shouldn't take too long." She looked back at Najisi and Reno. "I'll be back as soon as I can" She paused to give a bleak smile, "We won't take no for an answer." Her ears flicked at Influence as he spoke and she snorted loudly. No more time was wasted as she took off though.

Yasbi gave a weird look at Influence, as did Kardei, but Yasbi was the one who spoke. "If we're ambushed, Influence, we won't sit back and idle by as we're attacked. We fight back." She told him. It was the most simple thing in the world she thought. Cyber kept his mouth shut. He didn't like Yasbi being on the front lines but he had no say to it. Instead his eyes cast about at everyone's expression.

Three felines shared their own glance, curiosity peaked, claws digging into the ground. So a fight was to happen? How interesting. They stood from their crouched position as one, and slipped down the side of the mountain they were on - their claws were out, making slight screeching noises to announce their presence as they slid down.

Immediately all were on their paws as they looked at the three that joined the group. Yasha stepped forward, eyes wide. She knew them instantly. How could she not? These three had been with her for quite sometime before they all split ways. "Amai? Kurai? Kane?"

The three joined their mother, Amai purring softly as she slipped under Yasha's neck - having walked straight through the group without much of a word to anyone else. "Yes, mother. We are here." She spoke for her brothers, stepping back for her brothers to greet her. She turned her gaze to that gray feline that spoke. "We heard what happened. We are Yasha's first litter. We will help you." Her lips curled back in a smile - one that was dark with mischief as she spoke of helping them. But anyone could see it was because of the prospect of battle that they offered their assistance. Kane had sidled up to his mother and pressed tightly against her side and Yasha welcomed the affection, having nuzzled Kurai as he returned the affection and stepped back calmly. Their sister did all the talking and that was all that mattered.

Yasbi, Kardei, and Jericho watched with mild surprise. Yasha had more kids?

Ducarius Novic & Aleksander Van Dael

Ducarius arrived a bit late to the party, but not being far off from the scene he was able to pick up on Najisi's announcement. He turned his attention to the group, padded up behind Camille as she spoke and proceeded to confirm her statement, "It is as she says. The Guild, as well as myself, will aid La Morte at the time of the full moon."
Aleksander gave a nod, in agreement with the guildmaster, before turning to follow Camille back to their territory.
Ducarius' eyes were focused on Najisi and Reno, "We will return with more warriors before the moon is at its fullest." Ducarius gave them a single respectful nod before turning and breaking into a trot to catch up to the others and lead them home.

Athena

The little female had quite happily plodded along with her other siblings following her mother out into the bright new world full of new things to discover, her mouth was wide open in wonder as she got easily distracted by moving things but was begrudgingly pushed along by her numerous siblings before her mother suddenly stopped and she rolled onto the floor onto her back to paw playfully at an unsuspecting siblings nose.

Leona

The demonic had been wondering around La Morte territory exploring mostly to get a better sense of her allies and also so that she wouldn't get lost so easily with her lack of direction. Or as she put it in her own words
I'm going in the wrong direction of purpose!
When the sound of various calls and chatter pulled her towards the groups meeting she managed to gather most of what was going on Meurtrier was going to attack La Morte again and this time may end up being a lot more serious.

Padding closer she sat next to where her mother and bother Camry she spotted Revolt skulking about and hurriedly waved him over with her tail before she reacted to her mother and fathers promise to aid La Morte.

Not that she had objections of course she'd gladly fight. She thought of poor Vaska and Sinna she didn't want to see them that sad again.. didn't want to hear him shout.
