Jasper Iblisi | Hanso Iblisi | Jack Ullrich
Father and son made their way and sat down, facing Zeitgeist, dipping their heads with respect before looking up at him curiously.
Jack had stayed in Gespenster for the last couple of days and all had been well. The young male padded forward looking right up at Zeitgeist with a prideful look, and a nod of respect given to his father, the lord of Gespenster. He sat down and awaited what he had to say.~

Fable & Suture & Rah & Laika & Raven
Fable was the first to appear over the horizon, then Laika quickly following at her side, likely sharing secrets on the best tactics of hunting. Raven was a bit slower behind, following their voices with ease, not even seeming to care that the world was blank in her eyes. The three sat down together nearest to Jasper, Raven pressing against her mother's side with a nuzzle before looking to where the thought her father was, while Laika looked around for Morphine with a smirk.
Suture fell in as well, stopping a moment to look for someone that she didn't dislike to sit by... A tired look came over her face, was that really her reputation now? As soon as she spotted Jack, she padded to find a comfy seat next to her growing son, licking the top of his ear as greeting. Rah came after, the scarred young man looking very curiously up at his father. A clan meetng. when did those happen often? Never. So this has to be good. He muttered, tail flicking as he gazed up towards his father, a small sense of pride welling in him. Or perhaps- ambition.

Zuri, Bella and Acacia
Zuri lifted her head, looking up towards Zeitgeist. She got up from where she lay in the sun and padded over towards the outcrop, before sitting beside Hanso and looking up to the top of the outcrop.
Bella and Acadia were already sitting near the outcrop. Bella whispered to her sister, guiding to their parents and brother. Acacia sat down by Bella's side and whispered to her, asking her what was happening. Bella replied, describing the scene to her blind littermate.

[/i] Zeitgeist said. He was so proud of them all, proud of himself and of this pride. They lived such peaceful lives. "We do not have many meetings, so I'm sure you're all aware this is important. First off, the young. We had quite the cub boom the past few months, and all those so young are now adolescents. You are moving up in rank. You have the option of being an Krieger, Attentäter, or Hausmeister." The German rolled smoothly off of his tongue. It was a language that came to him naturally. "Unless you specify other, you will all be placed as Kriegers. But you have the chance now to speak up, and pick a different role in the pride." Zeitgeist said. "But hold that until the end, then you may let it be known. For we have more to discuss. After much thought, I have decided it is time for me to pick a Zweite, and a Erbe. My second, and my heir." He waited after that, to hear and see the reactions of the pride. [/ul][/blockquote]

Hanso and Jasper exchanged glances of excitement and curiosity. Hanso nuzzled Zuri and licked her ear before purring and looking up to Zeit, curiosity clearly shown in his golden gaze.
Jasper's ears pricked as he nuzzled Bella and Acacia in greeting before nuzzling his daughter and smiled, purring gently before looking up to the lord. Who would become the Second and the Heir? Interesting indeed.. little did he know what was to change his life forever...
Jack smiled and nuzzled his mother before looking up to his father curiously. No doubt Chronic would become the heir, no doubt about it. He was the oldest, after all. Though, he still waited in case he was wrong.

Evolette | Sinn | Chronic
Gracefully did the brown demonic 'ess enter the scene. She was not the first to arrive nor the last. A polite smile and casual nod was offered u to those she passed by in her approach. Silently Evolette seated herself somewhere in the middle of the gathered bodies, attentions on her Dominant, tail draped over her paws and tapping contently.
Two brothers arrived together, side by side. Sinn and Chronic had become somewhat close over the passed few weeks, pranks and jokes were their common ground of interest. It had become a sort of game to out wit and out prank the other. Their mischief was slowly spreading over all corners of the territory. As the two got closer they separated, a mutual agreement had been made that they would not be near one another for the sake of Suture and her temper. Sinn made his way to his mother and brother, rubbing his head roughly across Suture's shoulder with a loud purr before sitting and turning his attention to his father. Chronic found his way somewhere near Evolette. Both exchanged friendly smiles before Crow turned toward Zeigeist. Attentions peeked to the mention of some new ranks.

Morphine has been sitting to the side, his dark body more then likely noticeable in the morning Savannah. He flicked his tail as he listened, ah an heir. Interesting.

Fable & Suture & Rah & Laika & Raven
Rah's ears pricked at the mention of an heir, as if everything else hadn't been suiting enough for him to have his full attention on. He gave a glance to his mother, who gave a glance back as if to say don't count your chickens. But he would, he would count his chickens, there was a great hopefulness inside him that he would be the heir... His red eyes that mimicked his father's scanned around, looking at his siblings. Jack... Ravyn... Sinn... and lastly, Chronic. His eyes narrowed as his gaze fell upon the half sibling. On the outside, he payed no heed towards the male, and even made slight conversation with him- yet Rah was much closer to his mother than to his half sibling, and inwardly held an illness... One that he would forever be reminded of whenever he flickered a torn ear, or happened to glance at the scores down his back. It wasn't enough to act, but a slight cold shoulder, Rah was nowhere near as vengeful as his mother, but even she seemed calm and controlled.
Meanwhile, Fable licked her daughter's ear and gazed at the growing cubs that were the dominant's. Any of them could be as equally eligible. Jack is a smart boy, Ravyn is a little sweetheart, Rah is strong, Sinn is brave, and Chronic is... A survivor. She said in her mind, a pang of feeling as she briefly wondered how Zeitgeist must feel towards his eldest son, she wouldn't be surprised if he himself were chosen. On the other hand, the matter of Captain was also in the open. Her pale gaze floated to one of the males that fathered her litter; Jasper. Ears folding down, a soft smile of encouragement was given to him, it was the least she could do after what she had done to the poor guy... After all, he deserved the position, if it were in fact to come to him.

((forgot Baine in my first post so imam just post him now ))
Baine
The young Donovan had arrived with his mother and sisters but had given little attention to what was going on around him. Baine focused more on picking dirt out from under his claws. While giving his ear a good scratching he spotted his father. Baine jumped to his paws, gave Fable a quick lick on the cheek then trotted his way eagerly to Morphine's side. As he neared he slowed, attempting to appear more casual. Silently he took a seat next to the big black and red male, peeking glances from the corner of his eye to try and mimic Morphine's posture.

[/i] He breathed deep and then his gaze fell on Jasper. "Jasper, you have been with us for a while now and have shown great improvement and strength during your stay with us. I am most honored to have you now, by my side, as the second of Gespenster." Zeitgeist said. He would wait before announcing the heir; which had to be worded so carefully. There were no favorites among children.[/ul][/blockquote]

Hanso's eyes widened with surprise before grinning to his son in pride before nudging him, "Go on, my son. Make us proud." he purred.
Jack looked up to Zeit, the male knew that Zeit didn't want any pressure on choosing the heir. He nodded in understanding to Zeit before his golden eyes examined everyone else's reaction.
Jasper's eyes widened slightly before standing up, he nodded with a determined smile. "M'lord, Gespenster. I will do my very best to make sure this pride is alive and calm. I will serve this pride with honor and I would die for this very pride, my children, my family and it's members. I'll make sure everyone is well fed and taken care of and I will make sure that everyone is secured and there is to be no enemies outside our borders. I'll make sure every single child can enjoy their youth, and I will fight at the front lines if I have to. Thank you, m'lord." he said before bowing to him, and nodding to everyone in respect and thanks. He even offered Fable a grin, saying thank you.

Fable & Suture & Rah & Laika & Raven
Fable returned the grin, as if to silently say congratulations!, and licked Elliot's head as he came to sit by them. Laika cheered, and so did Raven; in a quieter way, both were proud of their father and his new rank. Suture and Rah both nodded in understanding that Jasper was the new Second, but both were equally just as eager to hear the next announcement.

[/i] Zeitgeist waited until the family had finished their cheering and congratulations, and then, he cleared his throat. "Before I announce the heir, I want all of my children to know how much I love you all. Each and every single one of you mean the world to me. I would not purposely try to make any of you feel less. Which is why I will be making a new rank for royal advisers. This will consist of my children and their mothers, should they so choose to be in such a position. All of my young will be taught how to lead and aid others. Basic life lessons with myself. However, when the day comes in which I no longer lead Gespenster, I will have a heir to lead the pride. I will expect my heir to treat their siblings, and every member, with the utmost respect." He said and inhaled deeply before slowly exhaling. It was a long sigh. Zeitgeist really did love his family and had a deep respect for the mothers of the pride, especially Suture, who had raised his cubs of the most recent litter and stayed to see them grow strong. Finally, his gaze turned on Chronic. "You are my oldest son, and although times have been tough, I believe that you can one day come out as a strong leader. You will train closely by my side as the heir; unless you do not want such a position. You are not obligated to do this, son." He said. The moment felt tense, and he hoped that the result would be peaceful and happy. Stars had begun to shine and the moon was full. It gave Zeitgeist hope that things would work out well. Ravyn held her breath. She knew that her chances of being heir seemed low. Though the girl could hope. She rubbed into her mother as she looked at Chronic. Would Chronic accept the position? If not, who would get it? She couldn't help but to wonder if one day, one of her siblings, or she herself, would lead Gespenster. Her gaze flickered up to her mother, full of curiosity. Dex remained quiet.[/ul][/blockquote]

Chronic | Evolette Da'leh | Sinn | Baine Donovan
Smiles and nods of acceptance were offered to Jasper, the new Second.
As Zeigeist continued to speak, Chronic listened closely. His chances of being heir were quite up there, being the oldest and all. But there was also the fact of his past decisions that made him doubt. There were so many others from which the Dominant could choose. Rah was just as much as a survivor as he was, Ravyn and her seemingly vast curiosity and probably one day large understanding of the world, Jack had taken the incentive to go off to better himself and to return a wiser young male, and Sinn; well, he had potential perhaps. Though he remained watching his father, his mind began to drift. It wasn't until things grew quiet and the eyes of the pride fell upon him did he come back to reality. Fear gripped him then. Blackened ears began to lower, blue's skimming over the gathered pride. His eyes landed on Evolette, begging her to tell him what to do. Though the two were close in age and she had most likely been a cub herself upon his birth, the dark female not only took the place as a friend and somewhat guide for Chronic, in his mind she was like the mother that had never been there. But she did nothing, said nothing, only watched him as closely as everyone else did. With a swallow he stood, padding his way to stand before the rest. "I'm a bit stunned to say the least." He began slowly, mulling over his words before saying them. "I'm more than happy to accept such a position, such a future." Those words being for Zeigeist. "But it isn't just my future. With this comes the future of everyone here, and those to come." His gaze stared straight ahead, just above the members heads. He knew he made eye contact now he'd most likely falter, but he tried to make his words strong. He wanted them all to know he meant what he said. "I haven't made the best of choices, and I will be forever sorry for them even after my own death." He paused then, glancing to his father. The bond between them was a strong one. Chronic knew that while Zeigeist still breathed nothing could ever harm the young male. The Dominant's presence was enough to give him a small burst of confidence. "I do accept this offer. But only if all of you allow it." They trusted Zeit. He was their leader. The one they all looked to for support and guidance. The one they knew could step up and take charge when things got hairy. If the pride found it in themselves to never be able to look to Chronic the way they looked to his father, then he would turn down the position into paws they thought were more capable.
Sinn and Baine sat in silence. Baine's attention now held and Sinn watching his older sibling with a tilted head.
