They're somewhat nomadic, so I figured I'd just leave this out of any specific board. This is for the Coalition, although prospective members may join in. I don't mind. Cyrus Aquaria
Amidst the waking day, a sun slowly climbing higher and bringing light to the land, lay an azure feline on his back. His white underbelly greeted the morning rays and he turned, not at all unlike a domesticated cat in that he flipped to his stomach and covered his face for a moment in a curled paw. He hadn't felt ready to be up yet, but the feeling of falling and the churn of adrenaline in his body shot him up. He could have sworn he felt the falling... Hmm. Probably another of those strange, night-spasms, voided of dreams yet the sensation was just... there. With a wide yawn, he rose up and stretched, brushing his eyes with the back of a paw and looking around to see who else was awake. Carefully for the moment, anyway. He was fairly tempted to leap at someone to wake them, but he wasn't sure who would take that as a joke and not an actual attack. Best to wait on that little stunt.
It was strange to be within a pride, even if it was merely a band of rogues. It may have been his idea, but he felt no inclination of being a leader--no intent, and no hubris indicating taking the role. He had his own agenda and the will to see it out, and playing to the tune of another felt... Wrong. Yet he wasn't quite a loner either; he thrived off of company. A hard situation to find oneself in, as not much was built for that within the communities creatures created for themselves. Always, they had a leader, some sort of hierarchy. No, he wouldn't do that here.
Flopping down again, the incredibly thin male occupied himself with playing with ants until another awoke.

The tawny Pyraisari wasn't so much a deep sleeper much to her dismay, for the sun, while a welcome sight in regards to being alive another day, easily awakened her from her sleep. All dreams from the night dissolved at the suns touch and were forgotten from memory, though she stay still and quiet, waiting. The wait wasn't long however, for sudden movement near her indicated Cyrus had awakened. She wondered if he had some sort of nightmare by how quickly he moved, but perhaps he was as irritated with the sun as she was. She contemplated opened her eyes and staring at him until he noticed, but perhaps that would come off as too creepy or weird. Or threatening. She wouldn't want to stir up any trouble in the group she had slowly begun to consider potential family.
Cyrus was the one who started this little band of rogues to begin with. He found them, one by one, suggesting they stick together but with no hierarchy. They had no land of their own, they traveled wherever they pleased. There was no leader, no one to call all the shots. She liked that. She liked having a voice when she felt necessary to have an opinion. At the moment, she was pleased with their little group. They were like a pride, yet not. They were better than a pride. They were equals.
Feeling awkward just sitting there with her eyes closed, she suddenly yawned and arched her back, her tail curling high over her back momentarily before she sat up. White eyes fell on Cyrus, and she nodded her head at him. It was a gesture of respect, a morning greeting. While he was not her leader, he was still the one that brought them all together, and for that she was thankful. "Good morning, Cyrus. Did you sleep well?" She spoke quietly as to not rouse the others before they awakened themselves.

Avion, Ryodan, Takara, Raum, Ivory, Shunti, Mazi, Catalina, Deija, Shace
Ryodan meeting Takara was intriguing to say the least. They had not fought, they had not belittled each other. They'd not even cast the other with a friendly greeting. They had met. And they had walked side by side. Each had their eye on one thing in particular - a large doe whom was as wary as mouse flinching at the near-by fall of a leaf. They had worked well with one another - surprising each other really. Flawlessly bringing the doe down to share and giving a nod of acceptance as they did so. They'd been able to miraculously work together - and they would share. And that was when the conversation began. Words flowed from one to the other and they found they were both descendants of the grand female Zekkou. Ryodan, a grandson. Takara, her son. Realizing that they were relatives was only the tip of the iceberg. Ryodan had brought Takara back to meet his father, Avion and Avion had taken well to seeing another of the famous bloodline. It reminded him of Samine, Avion would say.
They continued to travel together for long periods of time. Their travels brought them to three others, a female with a pelt glimmering ivory - and her namesake amusingly enough, and two males whom were so different in color, and yet related with a distance of two generations, Raum and Shunti Donovan. Or Crinivoi, as Raum dubbed his last name, and he refused to divulge curiosities upon it. The more they walked, the more that joined them. Mazi, Deija, Catalina, and Shace having followed. A band of loners that had no control over the other, and yet full of respect for one another. They broke off every now and then as something peaked the interest of one, but always found they're way back to one another. And thus, brought them to this moment. A Coalition they'd heard of with two other current loners. It was what they had already gotten used to and yet, this Coalition - in some sense, would probably be always viewed as Cyrus Aquaria's. If not for him, it would possibly have remained unformed.
And this brought them to this day. Mazi was not far from the lot of them, his white pelt cast in a golden hue as the sun slowly rose. Raum was draped over Shunti's back, the two of them snoozing as Ivory sat up beside them. As if, with her around, they'd nothing else to worry about and could continue to sleep peacefully. Takara had awoken long before sunrise - he wasn't ever much of a sleeper and being around so many was genuinely still hard for him to get used to. Avion and Ryodan were still curled within one another.
Shace, Catalina, and Deija were gone from the picture for the moment.
But the whispered words of another had pulled the attention of the three awake, Ivory folding her wings against her sides as she shifted slightly - Raum and Shunti shifting towards her in their sleep, and Mazi glanced over his shoulder at the two of them. Takara lifted his head briefly before setting it back down.
After a moments thought, Mazi stood and took a few steps closer to Toni and Cyrus before stretching out before them. "It'd be nice if, perhaps, we could sleep past sun rise. Like some we know." He jerked his chin to the four sprawled about still. Ivory's lips twitched upwards into a smile, Takara snorted.

Cyrus Aquaria
Skylight eyes caught the first signs of movement--Toi, arching her back and breathing life into muscles and joints. Her nod was greeted with a smirk--more of a lopsided smile than anything else. "Mooorning. Yeah, I slept well. Woke up with a bang though." He rolled his shoulders, quizzically looking at her. "Have you ever woken up feeling like you were falling and hit the ground, even though you weren't actually dreaming? Hell, I'm probably just weird on that one." It wasn't really scary, but it sure did create a burst of initial panic.
Movement from the rather comfortable heap of bodies caused his gaze to divert to them, and to Mazi whom neared them. He laughed under his breath at his comment. Honestly, he was damned tempted to go over there and get in on that warmth but whatever, he was awake right now. Maybe tonight when they didn't expect it. The looks on their faces might be worth it. Actually, he had a better idea... "Boy it would be. In fact," he said, rising to his paws and speaking a little louder, "I think I'll join them!" He walked up to them and literally draped his middle across Raum, Shunti, and reached out to pull Ivory in. It was really fortunate that his weight was rather low for a creature of his size. In this precarious stacking and the two he flopped on no doubt squirming, he'd probably just fall forward and end up in a sprawl in front of Ivory--mostly because he wouldn't actually drag her down with him.
Just a typical morning for Cyrus.

Tonitrui "Toni" Ruo - Clanal Kille'anea
Toni looked mildly concerned. She was certain that she was awake enough to have heard a bang - wait, nevermind, she thought to herself. He didn't actually mean the sound... She almost laughed to herself, though did shake herself to spur a quicker wake up. "Truly? I cannot say I have had that feeling before. But it does make sense for how quickly you got up. Maybe you were in the world between dreams and awake." The comment wasn't meant to sound as supernatural as it came out to be, but she recalled her mother saying something similar when she was but a cub, she always carried it with her, as other remnants of her cubhood.
Just as Cyrus moved his gaze to Mazi, so did Toni's. She smiled and chuckled at the males comment, giving him a genuine nod. "Oh I certainly wish I could. It's a curse some days, being such a light sleeper." Silver eyes went to Cyrus, brows lifting in surprise as he declared he would join the pile of bodies. And so he did. It was shocking, but this was Cyrus. This was the life of the Coalition. They were a random bunch of creatures joined together in this band of rogues. She loved it.
Shifting closer to Mazi, she plopped down and tilted her head at the pile of bodies. "I wish to remember this. How amusing." She laughed. Something flicked in the corner of her vision and she turned her gaze to follow it. Fire. Moving fire. Bristling, the female stood and narrowed her eyes. "Is that fire there?" Her voice was stern, warning.
-
Not but a hundred or so meters away, a strange, flaming ess ran. She had no recollection of anything that happened in the past day, let alone...the past at all. She merely woke up this morning knowing nothing more than her name and the feeling of being completely and utterly lost. And terrified. She felt like a cub searching for her mother, though mother was long gone.
"My...my name is Clanal Kille'anea. I am...I am a Ohenlev...." She paused and folded her ears back against her head and horns, taking in gasping breaths, the panic slowly subsiding. "What happened..." She squeezed her eyes shut, twitching her bicolor nose. The fire that ran along her spine crackled brightly, the tip of her tail flickering with the same intensity. She paced, before moving yet again, though this time towards a stream. Once there, she gulped mouthfuls of water to satisfy her parched tongue. Panting to catch her breath, water dribbling down her muzzle, she sat and stared at her reflection. The Gods Kiss mark gracing her face shone bright against her dark fur, two colored eyes staring back at her. It was hard to relax, amnesia was hardly a joke and she certainly wasn't laughing.

SAMBA MAAN
The sand pelted individual, blind in one eye, he...or she was still asleep. Gently its fluffy tail curled over their body, the tip only covering up its snout. It was still asleep, or so did it seem. The humble sand-fiend was contemplating carefully new things in his thought. From now on, 'I' in this group will move like one and the other. This band was loose, was it not? Still free to go its own way, do by own will as long at it was kind-natured and not harmful to his fellow mates...
Gentle purring came out of its muzzle, the only good eye opened from under the heavy pink lids. One pinkish-red eye glanced over the current resting spot. Some members already wide awake, others still resting and some alert...
"Fire?" It slowly mumbled, eyes gently rolling half a circle from under the heavy lids, but then it snapped. Its head rose high in an instant. "FIRE? How big, how close!?"

I'll start a post for the disaster. <3 Cyrus Aquaria
The mention of fire had him immediately move to right himself--no more games. But when he followed her gaze, he narrowed his eyes to see the creature better--a flaming... lion? Nothing he'd seen before, but they looked... oddly lost. He tilted his head and neared the creature, cautiously. "Hey, there." His tone was caring. "Is something wrong--"
The Earth rumbled, and he nearly lost his footing, squatting low against the land to keep himself upright. "I really hope that wasn't you, because if it is, holy shit you have a hungry stomach." He joked nervously, but as he was getting himself back to full height, a second, far worse shift in the land had him on his side in a second, no remorse. No, this creature couldn't have caused this. It was like an earthquake, but were they this bad? His skylight eyes looked toward the coalition's group, and when he did, he noticed a fault-line crackling toward them. "MOVE!" He didn't think. He only acted--bolting toward them, pushing them away. It was a slow-moving crack, but there was no telling when the friction would be too much for the land and it'd give way. "Get out of the way and watch your feet!" Where could they go? They weren't beside any major water area, no real mountains, far from the Veldt and the volcano. But the earth was dry and roasted, even in this rather plentiful area--the land could crack further, like an egg shell.

Tonitrui "Toni" Ruo • Clanal Kille'anea
"Hang on." The Pyraisari nodded to Samba in an attempt to calm him down before following behind Cyrus cautiously, too curious to stay away, too protective to let Cyrus go off on his own. The flaming lion did indeed seem lost, and the world spun out of control before she could speak, before Cyrus could finish his sentence.
The earth shook, and thankfully she was close to Cyrus as she fell into him, and his crouch kept himself and her from falling over. "What the...Well it wasn't me!" Toni's eyes were wide, but Clanal's eyes were wider. She not only was pretty much snuck up on by two strangers, but then the earth beneath them was growling, and she was crouching on it so low she felt she was merging into it. "N-No, it's not-" The newcomer started to say, but the earth jerked and she went down, as well as Toni. Toni followed Cyrus' gaze, the breath knocked out of her as she noted the fault line. What was happening!
"Come with us! Safety in numbers!" Toni said as she regained her footing, nudging the other female briefly before dashing after Cyrus. Clanal was petrified. Her world really had turned upside down today. She stayed put a moment too long, and cracks formed beneath her. She jumped high before the spot she was sitting broke away. Her fire billowing, she chased after Toni and Cyrus, deciding that perhaps the other female was right.

SAMBA MAAN
Samba huffed out loudly as he braced its body against the solid ground. "What is this madness, whay is the very eart beneath us shadink as if.....it were dancing a silly dance!"
Its eyes opned wide, Samba's only good eye gazed to the fire, no worry it was a....burning feline... Now that se was closer to their, a burning, horned feline... The sand feind spring up back on its feet, urging his companions. "We should rally the others!"

Avion, Ryodan, Takara, Raum, Ivory, Shunti, Mazi, Catalina, Deija, Shace
Ivory snorted and dodged Cyrus' outstretched paw bemusedly before watching Shunti and Raum both jolt up - or try - in surprise and outrage. A shared look between the two boys before they shoved with their strength to push him off - but it was hardly necessary as he immediately righted himself and they ended up springing to their paws instead. Still, the warning small shouts of fire had the others stirring and pulling themselves to their paws. Takara pulled himself up to his paws as Avion and Ryodan groaned and they too, stood, stretching before they realized the cries of fire had woken them. Their gaze immediately sought out the reason for it but it wasn't long before they'd had their answer. An 'ess with a flaming pelt. Glances were shared all around before they all converged slowly - until the lands shook. It wasn't too alarming at first - no where near as bad as the Veldt lands - not that they would know this.
But it was something that startled them. Catalina, Shace and Deija had also felt it and had decided to sprint back with whatever they'd hunted - it would have to do. As they came upon camp they saw the flaming lioness but paid her no mind. There was something else. "Did you guys feel that?"
But Shace's questions were shortly answered after she'd dropped the two hares in her maw. It was shortly after that the earth jerked underneath their paws and all were stumbling, falling into one another and attempting to keep their feet on the ground in vain. Samba's words did not go unnoticed but more than that, was the crackling of.. Of something they'd not heard before - nor seen as they watched a fault line head straight for them.
And then Cyrus knocked them from their thoughts as he began pushing them to move. "Stay to one side!" Avion shouted out, grasping his son Ryodan and jerking him to the side when he was too slow to move on his own. Takara leaped for the two of them and Raum, Shunti and Ivory reached their sides as well, having been traveling together for so long made them react to sticking with each other. Shace, Deija and Catalina shudder and Mazi leaped from his spot to the others to reach them. But it wasn't going to give them much longer. "We should run." Avion spoke again. "Away from this, keep an eye out on the ground, on any other cracks - stick together," He suggested, eyes seeking Cyrus immediately however.
really really crappy Im sorry, I just realized I hadn't posted here.

Cyrus Aquaria
Despite the urgency of the situation, he had let out a breathy chuckle at Toni's words. Having the lost rogue temporarily join them didn't bother him, though he still felt a tinge of uncertainty due to them being a flaming, horned feline. That didn't matter as much as making sure nobody died to this crazy event.
"I'd prefer my dances with a little less death." It was spoken in response to Samba. Catalina, Shace and Deija returning from their hunting was a relief--they wouldn't risk being separated by moving now. A few cracks opened here and there, as if their camp had been on one of the Earth's veins--it didn't look like there were that many forming elsewhere. He could spot some trees tipping dangerously though, and when Avion spoke, he'd glanced toward him and met gazes. He would nod. "We need to stay out of the trees especially. I don't know if the tremor is unsettling them or if it's cracking in there, too. Gotta keep visibility--" A violent shudder rocked them a third time, this time more localized than the previous tremors--a line darted out from the vein toward him, splitting apart at an uneven angle, nearly tipping the blue feline into it as the dirt gave way beneath his left-side legs. He'd thrown himself to his right almost immediately when he saw it coming his way, so he skidded on the ground for a moment before righting himself with a slight thrash. It was then that he realized that the line had come out of the vein at a right angle, and had gone a considerable distance. Indeed, the cracking was not predictable. They'd definitely have to move; dodging wouldn't cut it. "Andele!" Never mind the tossing in of a Spanish word, he was beginning to move out, ears pinned back. What do we say to death? Not today!
