VASKA KAIN-SULDAN He accepted his sister's nuzzle, relieved to see a familiar face around for once. He wouldn't admit it verbally that he was worried about La Morte, because it was all evident in his face. And then when she pulled away, to start explaining to him, he just kept quiet, entranced on her explaining.
However, there was no denying that his pelt bristled slightly when she referred to Father as 'Reno', as if he didn't mean anything to her. He was a damn sight better than.. whoever their biological father was. He held no love for him. Curiosity, sure, but not love. But nonetheless, he didn't interrupt his sister. He let her continue on, not even preparing himself for the next thing she said.
And as soon as the words left her mouth, Vaska just froze in place. It was like he was suddenly struck by.. a boulder or something. He lost his breathing for a moment, trying to take in what was said to him. He looked up to Sinna, in a state of shock, not saying anything.. but he knew his ears hadn't deceived him.. although he wished they had.
"Asera.. ? They.. they killed.. Asera?"
His words came out in mutters, trying to confirm the truth. If Vaska was honest with himself, he didn't know Asera all too well. Well.. they were brother and sister, but that was that; they weren't close like himself and Sinna.. but the fact was, they'd lost a sibling. A dear sibling, who'd been with them through thick and thin. Meurtrier had come home, and killed their sister.
He wanted, no, desperately wished that it could have been him on the other end instead of Asera, but instead, something more horrible came out of his mouth before he could stop himself.
"God FUCKING DAMN IT!" He yelled out suddenly, furs bristling again in rage. "Stupid fucking pride.. stupid fucking La Morte! Stupid fucking Mum, stupid fucking Reno.. they couldn't let go of their FUCKING pride, could they?! They couldn't just live with it, they had to do this! THEY HAD TO FUCK AROUND AND MAKE ENEMIES! After all the god damn things I do for them.. I leave home, I live in an unfamiliar pride with.." He looked over to Leona for a quick second, although she was just a blurry shape at that point through his angry tears that were streaming forth. ".. amazing allies.. I accepted Reno as my father, I gave my loyalty and now.. this is how we're repayed? Asera dies?! Fuck them. JUST GOD DAMN FUCK THEM!"
And with that off his chest, Vaska quickly embraced his sister and cried into her shoulder, not caring about anything else.
Now he really had an excuse to go home.

Leona Novic She found herself just listening into the small conversation going on between her mother and Vaska, laying herself down more comfortable before her attention was raised at her brother's name. Camry she could visit Camry and see how he was doing. Smiling she was about to open her mouth when everything was interrupted by the lone arrival of Sinna.
At first her mind went straight to the worse case scenario, Camry's gotten into trouble, done something stupid he should't have done or even worse thoughts like he's been hurt or.. she didn't want to think about the latter as her whole expression sank. Though through Sinna's reassurance that her brother was safe she breathed a small sigh of relief that was cut short as a new concern stormed about inside her head.
Leona watch quietly as both Vaska and Sinna walked away together to talk, she was curious as to what it was about but decided it'd be best she not get involved and so distracted herself by looking at the water in front of her ripple under the wind occasionally.
After having become incredibly distracted by the water she found herself nuzzling into her mother's side as she was about to close her eyes for a short nap, but the sound of Vaska's raised angry voice startled her out of her daze and made her body shoot up like a bolt. Turning to just look at Vaska anxiety was building up in her chest as she watched nervously from where she was as he cursed his own pride and family, she visually flinched and closed her eyes when he got to the part about them but was surprised by his words that seemed to calm down. Turning her head round to look at him again but she was met with just more curses and anger. Though she didn't know what had caused him to suddenly react like this it was plain to see it was something horrible. Something to do with this war.
She wanted to help but what could she do? standing here watching him in tears.. it hurt. Thinking frantically she turned to Camille "Let's go visit La Morte and Camry now!"she pleaded to her mother "We can go back with Sinna to make sure she get's back safely too"turning herself she started walking in the direction Sinna had come from as if she were about to go out there on her own. Though she had no idea were La Morte was exactly.

Sinna
Tears began to leak fast from her eyes as she watched her brother break down, and nearly collided with him as he fell into her, her paws splaying out to embrace him tightly. Her maw wanted to let out a choke beneath the crying, but she gritted her teeth... She wasn't going to appear broken, not even in front of her sibling. Sinna simply didn't have much to cry, it had already been done in the past hours between the battle and now, so she quickly forced the tears to cease- before it became dry.
Her words were still hushed, but stern through the slight cracks. "Don't you dare even imply this is our family's fault, Vaska... There is only one source we can blame for this, and you know it."
They were now the bane of her existence, as if they weren't before. "They strut around on their high horses, attacking when they please and taking the lives of our members... Our mother didn't ask for this, Vaska, she wanted to get away from them, but Jericho..." She raised her lip, an obvious growl of disapproval rumbling in her throat. "That damn idiot provoked them, neither mother nor Reno asked for that... They damn sure didn't ask for our sister's death."
The mention of death again made the tears once again flow slightly, in anger rather than sadness, she fell into her brother's shoulder to discourage it. A soft hiss escaped her maw, edging on a whine. "It isn't fair, Vas... Meurtrier should be punished..."

VASKA KAIN-SULDAN Vaska trembled in his sister's embrace, torn between intense sadness and intense rage. He tried to suppress his emotions, stop himself from saying something stupid, but it all came out at her tone.
"Fuck you Sinna," He growled, staring down something fierce at her. "We started all this because Mother and Reno were traitors. Did they really expect us to go quietly? No, they didn't! And the fact that we're dancing around and stealing their cubs is even worse. Like it or not, whoever does something wrong, Reno and Mother are accountable for it. They represent the pride as a whole. If they can't keep Jericho or anyone else under control, then they shouldn't have fucking made a pride in the first place. If living under Meurtrier means that none of us could have gotten hurt.. I would have taken it. Anything over living in a disorganised, awful pride.."
He stopped himself in his rant, sniffling loudly and wanting to slap himself. What was he saying?! Go with Meurtrier?! They were savages, Sinna was right, high and mighty. Whatever the intentions were, he was sure there was a good reason for it. His eyes looked up to his sister, and he took a deep breath.
"S.. Sorry.." He murmured, head down. "I.. I'm just.. so fucking angry. The last time I saw Asera.. we bid goodbye to each other when I left. And now.. I'll never see her again.. we'll never see her again. Another sibling lost.. god damn it. Are you holding a vigil for her? If so, I'm going to come home. At least temporarily.

Sinna
Her ears shot back, and she backed away from him. Surprise filled her gaze at his fierceness towards her, it stabbed her like a painful rusty nail, and it was apparent on her face. After a few moments of silence, it quickly turned to anger.
"Go... With Meurtrier?" She mewed, not believing what she was hearing. Her lip curled up in a suddenly threatening snarl, and her hackles raised high. Oh she was hurt, and now she was pissed. "Since when did you become a coward? Join the enemy so no one gets HURT? I'd rather be dead than joining that stuck-up killing spree!" She roared, rage peaking as her face snapped closer to his, even when it lowered. "And worse of all... You mock our mother, her pride, the pride our sister DIED fighting for. I don't care how you angry you are but you will NOT say Asera died for nothing!"
Once she was done yelling, there was only the faint sound of her huffing, and after some moments she backed away again, ears folding down apologetically. "Sorry as well." She muttered, but not as much to Vaska; but to the Guild members, she was the one intruding, after all. Sinna was hurt by what her brother had said- obviously, and she was still offended slightly, apology or not. Her now stinging purple gaze drifted from her brother to Camille and Leona, quieter now as she tried to calm herself. "No doubt they'll have the vigil soon, if not now..."
Her gaze turned back to Vaska. "If you wish to come home and mourn, you're welcomed to..."

VASKA KAIN-SULDAN If there was one person in the whole of the world that could shut him up forcefully with nothing more than a look on her face, it was Sinna. The words hurt as she flung them onto the male, hitting hard. Her bark was indeed worse than her bite. Vaska could only stare at his sister.. his darling sister, whom he thought they had agreed on so much. But it seemed like for the first time, they were really at ends with each other. All he did was pant from the outburst he'd previously had, not even caring that anyone else was listening.
He shook his head. "No, Sinna.. I was just talking shit. I'm angry. I don't know who to blame. I hate Meurtrier more than anything right now. It's just that I've been thinking.. and worrying about you guys.. and wondering," He went on, although it was starting to come out in a humbled, low tone. "Forgive me, but lately I haven't been smothered in the tension and fighting and whatever as you have been. Not for a second do you dare think I was giving them mercy. They killed Asera. Even if Jericho was being an idiot, I'm not excusing Meurtrier at all. I.. I've just been.. too far away from La Morte, I think. I've lost sight of who I was, as stupid as that sounds."
Vaska could only give a small laugh to himself and look away from his sister. How could be all moralistic all of a sudden, because he lived in the Guild? It was embarassing.
"I love Mother, you know that. La Morte is my home, and you'd know I'd do anything to defend my family and keep you all safe. Even if you don't like it, Sinna. He wrinkled his nose at her at her parting statement. "Even if you wouldn't allow me for the traitorous words I just said, I'd still go. Just because I wasn't there for you all doesn't mean I'm not going to see Asera off."

Sinna
She let her fur lie flat again as she calmed from her own outburst. It was clear that the two were getting heated, but it was all emotion in the end- heated troubles of mixed and heavy emotions making both of them angry and confused. Sinna still let her ears stick to her skull, tail lashing to get the last bit of anger through her. "You think you're angry? I was right there, near her, and I still didn't make it in time. I could have even taken her killer's life- but I didn't even have the time for that, the bastards retreated. I'm angry too, Vaska, but I'm not going to bash my own family and pride in the midst... It's not them that physically killed my sister, I know the face of the piece of shit that did it..." she muttered, realizing her anger was getting her off topic for a moment.
"I forgive you... Though I don't think I understand your sudden illness toward me here. I just came all the way here to tell you what had happened to our sister, because you're my brother, and I thought you should know at least in time to see her off. Why would I keep you from it?" She huffed, head lowering as well. God why did this have to hurt? Were things between them supposed to be so odd, had he really changed in the short time he'd been away? Monotone voice returned, feeling pretty shitty now after all that had happened, she really wanted to turn tail and run off again. "I'm sorry I came and troubled your lack-of-tension with this... Like I said, I thought you deserved to know first."

VASKA KAIN-SULDAN Vaska simply shook his head. "You've done nothing wrong, Sinna," He murmured, feeling guilty now. He looked away from her gaze, tail flicking idly and feeling like he'd just let go of a lot of tension. Tired shoulders and body. "I appreciate you coming down here to tell me. Like.. probably the best thing to know that your sister has got your back, even when her brother is off saying stupid things. We've been through a lot together, and more shit is coming our way so.. we gotta stick together. And if you need help tracking down that fucker.. well, I'll be there to help you if need be."

Sinna
She simply nodded, but her eyes widened at the thought. Damn, that was a good idea... For a moment she felt crazed, wanting to squeeze the blood from that male like a cobra, perhaps make him choke on his own blood, any death worse than her sister's was what he would deserve. A sick feeling arose though, realizing that she could easily loose herself in the desire for murder... Though that was a dire thought. Tail ticking, she looked around; now that things had quieted, it was time to go.
"If we're gonna go, I suggest we do so now... Or at least, I should, you don't have to escort me home." She said rather sternly, yet not at all threatening. "I'm sure Camry is waiting- well, at least, I hope he is."
Her views turned toward Leona and Camille specifically. "Speaking of Camry, perhaps I don't know him THAT well yet, but... I'm confident he would want to see his family as well after all this... Perhaps you should come along and visit him." She mewed, ears folding down in brief concern about the male back home. How could it be fair that she see her sibling and not include him being able to see his? Perhaps fairness wasn't the first thing on her mind when she rolled on up here, but she was at least trying to look out for the male that was supposed to be her future mate.
Sinna felt terrible that he was flung into battle, and in fact embarrassed... She sincerely hoped he wasn't angry and thinking of leaving. Somewhere she hoped he at least felt some attachment to her, perhaps this little gift of family visit could do some good for him. If they accepted.

VASKA KAIN-SULDAN He sucked in some air through his mouth, and kept trying to calm himself. It was hard though; bad news, then your sister getting defensive at you.. although for a good reason, at least. He was never angry at her anyway. Vaska looked up to the skies with deep blue eyes; it had suddenly clouded over. From a sunny afternoon, going into a gloomy evening.. damn, the world was weird like that. But it fit his mood perfectly, so what did he care?
Nothing else. But when he saw Sinna accept his thoughts about tracking down their sister's killer.. now, there was something on his mind.
Revenge..
Funny how emotions worked. For that brief moment, he was considering excusing Meurtrier. La Morte could have not been rebels, sure, but Meurtrier didn't have to do such a thing. They would pay.
Sinna's stern tone bought him back, and he watched as she invited Camille and Leona along, flashing them both a small smile. One that just concentrated the corners of his lips. He couldn't find the strength to give them anything more. He was tired. But eager to go. He only hoped that at least Leona would accept.
"Hah, typical Sinna." He joked lightheartedly, turning to her, although he was still miserable and it was apparent in his tone of voice. His inclusion of humour, and the feeling of lightening the mood, fell apart in him. He turned his gaze back to the pair sitting nearby. Wondering if they'd accept or not.
Wait.. pair?
He looked around. Leona was gone. What the hell?! Where'd she sneak off to?!

Camille
Camille had watched the two siblings intently, her eyes narrowed in on them, her body tense. She wondered if Sinna was being truly honest that her own son was okay if they had lost their own sibling - but more concerning was if the pride of their alliance was okay. Surely they needed help - maybe not now of course, with the battle having been over, but in general if anything else had happened. She stood then, ears perked as she continued to listen to their conversation - listening to Sinna and Vaska sort their differences without her interference, though she was prepared to do so at any moment.
However Leona broke through her thoughts and she glanced down at her daughter as she frantically stated they needed to go to Camry before she could even get a word in, Leona was off, her gaze flicked back to the siblings as they finally addressed her - calm now thank goodness, and said that Camry would probably appreciate being visited. She snorted, loudly, in amusement, raising her paw to tell them to hold on one moment.
"Leona, stop right there." Camille called to her daughter, her voice taking that motherly tone of 'don't you dare move another paw step forward, or else.' She gazed sharply at her daughter for a moment, and flicked her tail for Leona to come back to them. Regardless of if she did or not she would speak to her again. "Leona, go get your brother, Revolt, so he can come with us."
Her gaze then turned to Ryker. "Ryker, could you please get Ducarious and inform him of the circumstances? He'll definitely want to hear of this and chose on whether to come or not himself." She smiled at him, but there was a strange glint in her eye daring him to not do so.
She turned back to the three before her, "Sinna, dear, we thank you for coming all this way on your own and though the information is terrible, we, Vaska in particular, definitely deserved to know. Don't regret coming out here one bit. However, you, little miss, are not heading back home on your own." She smiled softly as she walked up to Vaska and Sinna, giving the female a teasing flick of her tail as she tried to lighten the mood a bit.
She looked to Leona, making sure that the female had indeed come back and then looked back at Vaska. "We will definitely be joining you on your way back to La Morte. Vaska, at this rate I am sure you want to see your family and be there for them in a time of mourning." She paused and looked at Sinna once more. "And we had been planning a visit to La Morte just now anyway. If Revolt shows, he can come with us of course, and Ducarious as well. Ryker can choose to come or stay of course and I think that covers the majority of us. I know there are a few others among the Guild, but they hardly show face." She murmured the last part, half to herself really. Then flicked her tail once more and stood straight again. "So await we shall!" [/blockquote] There, squeezed out a post. Hope I covered everything.

Ducarius Novic & Aleksander Van Dael
"What's this?" Ducarius emerged from the den with Aleks close behind and joined the group by the water's edge. Aleks answered, "A trip to La Morte if my ears are not mistaken." The guildmaster looked over all of them and offered a small nod of greeting to his ally, Sinna. "That is what it sounds like." However he had only caught the tail end of the conversation, but one thing Camille said stuck out, a time of mourning. That and Sinna's presence made him question, "Has something happened in La Morte?" If so, why was he not informed? Ducarius would have loved to sink his teeth into some flesh, it had been a while since his last battle. And Galil, he still had not been able to escape his prison in Jaaku. He hoped with his new found allies he may be able to have the power to retrieve him, but now from the sounds of it he would have to wait again. If La Morte was attacked, they wouldn't want to get up and jump into battle again any time soon.

Camille
Head snapped back to the side as a familiar voice stepped in and she smiled at the Guildmaster for a moment, nodding in welcome to him. Ducarious, I had just sent Ryker to go get you." She responded at first, then tilted her head towards Sinna. "Sinna just came to inform us that La Morte has just been attacked by Meurtrier - she says Camry is fine, but Vaska and her have lost their sister." She informed him quickly, then tilted her head as she awaited a response. [/blockquote]

Leona Novic At the sound of her mothers voice she immediately froze, not that she had wanted to stop if her mother hadn't have called out she would have probably run all the way to La Morte.. or got lost since she didn't know the way. It was Camille's tone of voice that made her turn a full u-turn and walk back towards her obediently, letting out a nervous laugh as she suddenly realized her own stupid mistake.
She was glad that Vaska and Sinna had calmed down or at least they looked like it and smiled at them both before snapping her head round as her mother addressed her again.
"Revolt? Eh.. but he's always hiding and I can never find him"she sighed out a reply her other brother Revolt had always been the most frustrating to her though she still cared for him of course she could just never get over the fact that he would always win at hide and seek when they had been little.
Reluctantly though not wanting Camille to give her 'that look' she rushed off in search for him calling for his name loudly hoping to draw him out as she ran around the territory.
